"A Journey In Adoption" is a photographic exploration of my wife and I's adventure in adopting a little girl from a HK orphanage. Through the use of instagram we were able to share this journey with our friends and family, and this exhibition is a collection of some of these photos. I work exclusively on iPhone and mostly in the medium of black and white or monochrome. What adds an extra creative element is that for six months at the start of the adoption process you are not allowed to post any identifiable photos of your child online, so it forced me to think creatively about how I could chronicle our journey with our daughter without having her recognised. I hope you enjoy checking out our journey, and that it might inspire you in one of your own.
